I had a login id and password but they no longer seem valid.
I am re-joining and will get a new login id . I have already
'registered' a new password. I have sent an e-mail to the person
(using the e-mail address given). I will report if they respond.

I sent the 'Nudawn' webmaster an e-mail and am hoping for a reply
(active, inactive, abandoned?)

I rarely if ever received a reply when I post at the
forum at the site. I have sent the person an e-mail
and am waiting for a reply. :( I even suggested
the person join OSFree but there was no reply.

New OS/2 eCS Group

I have created a new OS/2 and eCS group.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/os2-ecs
It is for anything related to or about
OS/2 or eCS. I will try to moderate it
so it will be a civil group discussion.

Good Luck!
IMHO, there are enough discussion lists for OS/2 at the moment. In
fact, the two lists on NIC.SURFNET.NL, OS2-L & TEAMOS2HELP-L, are
certainly not used as much as in the past and the topics are quite
varied, AFAICT.

It was intended to be a group just so I could post products and
or announcements that are related - in some way - to oS/2 and eCS.
There are others joined the group. I have been accused of
'spamming' an eCS group. I always thought that 'spam' was posts
that were unrelated to the groups topic. By having my own group,
I could post all the OS/2-eCS related topics that I wanted without
being accused of 'spamming'.

There are alot of groups, forums and lists for users of OS/2-eCS.
In a way, a good thing. It shows that there is an interest in
OS/2 and eCS.

I just wish there was more groups, lists and forums
on this project. It would be mean more poeple involved
and a greater chance of OSFree succeeding.

I have read the complaints about your multiple posts to some lists and
about them being duplicates of the announcements from V.O.I.C.E News.
Unfortunately, some people become very upset about this practise, as if
it is the "Eleventh Sin", whereas the sane approach is to delete any
duplicated news items as one does for other duplicated e-mail or ones of
no interest. IMHO, the first source of news about OS/2 should be
"V.O.I.C.E. News", but I do laud your desire to keep the OS/2 community
informed of any news related to it. When you announced that your new
group at Yahoo!, I thought that a better name would have been "OS/2
News+" to cover any items not appearing in the V.O.I.C.E. Newsletter or
site, while promoting it as the primary source of news on OS/2 & eCS.
Also, It could have been a forum to discuss all news related directly
and indirectly to OS/2-eCS, especially for those users who prefer e-mail
to newsgroups.
