Subject: New maintainer of the OS/2 Freeware Site

Text: I have recently taken over the maintenance of the OS/2 Freeware Site
(formerly Mark's OS/2 Freeware Site). I've got a LOT of updating to do
since it's not been updated in five years. I'm planning on going in and
removing anything with dead links as well as updating any programs that
may have moved, et cetera. I'm also planning on adding a Java section
(since I use some good Java programs myself).

If you are an OS/2 freeware/shareware author and would like to see your
program listed, please email me at sean outpostbbs net with the subject
of "OS/2 Freeware Site".

If you know of any corrections that I should make or anything else that I
can do to make the site better, please let me know!

Thanks,
Sean

Kim,
you probably already know about that, but the forum at the site is not
available anymore.

I am in the osFree team, but have no access to the site, sorry.

Bye

Cris

The software giant's victory in the
file allocation table (FAT) patents
battle is raising concerns in the open
source community. Some fear this means that
global patents systems pose a danger to the
health of Linux and the open source community at large.
"
How will this affect OSFree?

TomLeeM

PS Does MS have any involvement or patents/copywrights
with/for or on JFS? (jornalling file system?)
